The Harvard Graduate Council (HGC) is an independent, student-run council of locally designated student representatives from each of the 12 graduate and professional schools of Harvard, each of whom must be a current, degree-seeking graduate student in good standing with their home school and program.

We advocate on behalf of graduate students before the University’s central administration, including the President of Harvard University and the Provost’s Office. We are governed by our Constitution and Bylaws.
